It was a simple rest house that offered extraordinary hospitality and enthusiastic expert guides for a day walking safari in the Sinharaja Rainforest. Our accommodatio was arranged in a "peaceful chalet" a tuk tuk ride from the main premises in its own enclosure on top of a small hill. Our guide provided us with the transportation from the rest house to the forest gate and took us on two walks with a lot of birds, snakes, lizards and trees & plants. Both our guided walks were provided with refreshments & water, we did not feel exhausted at all. Thank you for everything.
Superb accommodation near the sinharaja forest and we were very happy that we booked this excursion throught Sri Lanka Day Tours. Great staff, the rooms were basic but facilities were greate. We had nice english breakfast and local lunch. We did a full day hiking and bird watching in Sinharaja with a well experienced knowledgeable guide. Thanks for the great service and a big thank to Sri Lanka Day Tours.
Sri Lanka Day Tours arraged us a best guide and made our tour really educational and had an amazing ability to spot the snakes, monkeys, lizards, birds and giant squirrels at every twist in the forest trail. We have been on many jungle/rain forest tours but this was by far the best. Partly due to the guide and partly the fact that this area is literally crawling with the most amazing wildlife! Loved it and will be back! :)
