The catamaran ride was a fantastic experience. We spotted more than 30 species of birds. Our local guide was very knowledgeable about the local birds and made the trip unforgettable for us. We were there at sunset and it was so quiet and peaceful and the only sounds we could hear were the ocean waves and the hundreds of birds flying around. My wife and I will never forget this trip on our honeymoon. We highly recommend doing the boat ride.

The catamaran ride we had in Kalametiya lagoon was a unique and unforgettable experience that combines the thrill of sailing with the serenity of bird watching. The lagoon is a haven for avid bird watchers and nature enthusiasts alike. Make sure that you visit either early morning or late afternoon for the best experience and the season is from November to April. Great Experience. A big Thank to Sri Lanka Day Tours for organizing this fantastic experience.
